At Expoland in Fishersville, the Stuarts Draft boys cross country team won its tri-meet between Wilson Memorial and Riverheads on Monday with 21 points. Riverheads came in second with 46 points while Wilson Memorial took third with 66 points.

FISHERSVILLE - Wilson Memorial’s offense finally got on track Friday night - with a little help from its defense.  The Green Hornets turned five first-half Covington turnovers and two blocked punts into 39 points en route to a 45-8 blowout of the Cougars in a non-district football game.

Blazers send Giants packing

PENN LAIRD- After a 6-yard up-the-middle touchdown score by Michael Glover made it 14-8 in the first quarter, the Trailblazers weren’t trailing any longer Friday as Spotswood slammed Waynesboro 44-16 for the non-district victory.
