Riverheads rolls to finals
GREENVILLE – After a scoreless first half, Riverheads came out in the second half hitting hard and running strong, taking a 20-7 win over Buffalo Gap on Friday in the Region B, Division 1 semifinals.

Stuarts Draft, R.E. Lee playoff game postponed
Tonight’s Region III, Division 3 game between Stuarts Draft and R.E. Lee has been postponed due to weather. The game will be played on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Gypsy Hill Park.

‘Fearless’
The Wilson Memorial girls cross country team made the jump to Group AA at the start of the season not knowing what to expect. Coach Gary Kessler knew he had something special coming with four freshmen joining the team. Little did he know that the Green Hornets would be the only Augusta County team left alive heading into the Group AA meet at Great Meadow on Saturday.
