The Waynesboro YMCA and Shanendoah Marlins Aquatic Club Swim Team kicked off the 2008-2009 USA swim season over the weekend at the Quantico Devil Dogs Fall Festival in Manassas. SMAC swimmers were in the 110 top 10 finishes.

SMAC stays solid at Games
The second day of the Commonwealth Games on Saturday at Ridgeview Park solidified the SMAC presence. SMAC didn’t steal the competition with force but a few swimmers crossed new thresholds on by shaving seed times and walking away with more confidence.
