Gap falls to Falcons

In Woodstock, Central picked up its second Shenandoah District win on Thursday night, sweeping Buffalo Gap 25-29, 35-22, 25-18.

Gap’s Emma Doyle led the team behind the service line with 13 points. Jessica Hawkins’ 10 kills kept the Bison alive on defense while Natalie Smith chipped in with four blocks. Smith also had four kills.

The Bison (2-12, 0-8 Shenandoah) will return to the court Tuesday, hosting Page County. Central (2-6, 6-11) will travel down Interstate 81 to take on No. 1 Riverheads. 

In JV action, the Bison fell 25-8, 25-3.
