PREP SOFTBALL: Wilson scores vengeful win over Luray
In Luray, Katie Grimm struck out seven Luray batters and Molly Huss, Kristian Carden and Courtney Berry all drove in two runs as the Green Hornets softball team avenged Tuesday’s loss to the Bulldogs with a 7-0 win on Wednesday.
Sammy Parker added an RBI triple and Emily Austin also drove in a run.
Locked in the No. 3 slot of the upcoming Shenandoah District softball tournament, the Hornets will host Stonewall Jackson on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
