PREP SOFTBALL: Early surge lifts Fort

In Fort Defiance, the Indians walked 11 times in the first two innings and took a 10-1 lead into the second before the Little Giants were able to stop the bleeding. Fort won 14-1.

Fort’s Cinnamon Snyder was 2-for-3 with three RBI and Chelsea McLaughlin hit an inside-the-park home run.

The Indians (14-1, 7-0) have already clinched the Southern Valley District title and have only Rockbridge left to take on in district play.
