Fort Defiance Softball blanks R.E. Lee

In Staunton, Nicole Heinrich struck out five in four innings while walking none in the Indians’ road win against the Lee Ladies.

Payton Hill relieved Heinrich for the final innings, striking out four with one walk.

Tiffany Lockridge was 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

The Indians (12-1, 5-0 Southern Valley) will be off until Friday, when they take on R.E. Lee again at home.
