HORNETS HEADED TO FINAL FOUR
The Wilson Memorial girls soccer team beat Region A champ Northampton, 3-0, on Tuesday to advance to Friday’s Group A Girls Soccer Final Four in Radford.

AMHERST — Jefferson Forest stuck to its game plan in the Region III semifinal against Waynesboro — it controlled the ball. The plan worked and the Cavaliers earned their spot in the Group AA tournament, beating Waynesboro 2-0.

BOYS SOCCER: Streaks blank Fort
FORT DEFIANCE - Harrisonburg did not wait long to punch its ticket to the next round of the Region III boys soccer tournament as the Streaks netted four first-half goals and kept the Indians off the board for all 80 minutes, winning 4-0.
