Draft advances to S. Valley finals

In Fort Defiance, Stuarts Draft scored an upset over No. 2 Fort Defiance on Friday night in the first round of the Southern Valley boys soccer tournament, earning a 2-1 win.
The Cougars’ Justin Orzech scored both goals including the game winner with four minutes to play.
“We are so excited,” Cougars’ coach Chris Loomis said. “We are on our way up.”
With the win the Cougars earn a Region III home game in the first round.
“We love our home crowd,” Loomis said. “They are starting to enjoy soccer.”
