Waynesboro was back in winning form on Tuesday night, knocking off No. 3 Rockbridge 6-0 in the Southern Valley District semifinals to clinch a No. 2 Region III seed.

Wilson Memorial got off to a slow start Tuesday evening, but responded with a big second half to knock off visiting Stonewall Jackson 6-0 in the first round of the Shenandoah District girls soccer tournament.

Giants blank Harrisonburg on senior night
It was a special night at Waynesboro High School on Tuesday as the Little Giants were honoring their nine seniors. Waynesboro gave all it had, taking on Harrisonburg in front of a packed house on senior night as a total team effort gave the Little Giants a 1-0 victory in non-district boys soccer action.
