HARRISONBURG – Stonewall Jackson took down the Buffalo Gap girls basketball team twice in the regular season but Stonewall couldn’t stop the Bison on Friday in the Shenandoah District tournament as Gap rolled over Stonewall 51-30 at Eastern Mennonite University.
Lee holds off Fort
STUARTS DRAFT – A patient offensive plan of attack took Robert E. Lee to a 55-44 win over Fort Defiance on Friday in the Southern Valley District tournament championship game.

HARRISONBURG — Unstoppable perimeter shooting took Riverheads to a 66-51 win over Wilson Memorial on Thursday in the Shenandoah District semifinals.

HARRISONBURG – The Bison stampede rolled Thursday night as regular season Shenandoah District champion Buffalo Gap posted a decisive 71-40 victory over No. 4 Page County in the semifinals of the Shenandoah District tournament at Eastern Mennonite University.

HARRISONBURG — A dismal first half Wednesday in which Riverheads was only able to muster eight points after having a huge offensive explosion in Monday night’s opening round of the Shenandoah District tournament, handed the Gladiators a 61-39 loss to Stonewall Jackson in the semifinals.

GREENVILLE — What a time to hit a stride. Riverheads scored a season-high 64 points en route to a 17 point win, 64-47 over Page County Monday night.
Bulldogs defeat Wilson by three
FISHERSVILLE — Luray hit shots when they needed to, and a bank shot off the glass with nine seconds left gave the Bulldogs the lead and the 56-53 victory over Wilson Memorial in the first round of the Shenandoah District tournament.

Wilson earns one over Riverheads
The Wilson Memorial girls basketball team picked up a win aginst one of its biggest rivals on Thursday night, knocking of Riverheads 66-52. The Buffalo Gap boys basketball team also won its game 82-66 over Page County.

Lee boys win second straight district title
Waynesboro kept it close in the first half, but a flurry of defensive stops to start the second half had Robert E. Lee running away with the 62-37 victory Wednesday night.
The win locks up the regular-season Southern Valley District title for the Leemen, and it was thanks to a balanced scoring effort.
