TNV FIRST SCORE: Dimitt’s walk-off shot lifts Draft over Waynesboro
In Stuarts Draft, Ricky Dimitt sent a 1-1 offering from Joseph Lucas over the fence in deep left center to give the Cougars’ a 2-1 win over Waynesboro in nine innings.
Both Waynesboro starter Joseph Lucas and Draft hurler Jeremy Fitzgerald went the distance.
The Cougars will play Fort Defiance, a 9-0 winner over Rockbridge, in Thursday’s championship game.
