Deborah Jackson brought her son Desmond, 9, from Durham, N.C., to Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville over the weekend for the Wheelchair Games competition, now in its 37th year, and inclusive to an ever-growing group of “junior” disabled athletes, under age 21.
