Anatomy of a response
Since the Fort Hood shooting I have been asking students what they thought about it and why they had those particular thoughts. Were they thinking about it through the filters of their family’s values, the teachings of their religion, personal experiences they had had or the experiences of people they knew? Who and what was influencing them?

Everyday blessings extraordinary lift
I’m writing to you in reference to angels unaware, sent everyday in God’s creation.
Last week, in a job-related meeting at Little Debbie’s, it was so hard to find a place to park – I parked where I could be seen, along the grass and beside the road. And as I waited, along came a car, beeping. Folks thought my car had broken down. I thanked them. Blessings.

Path being cleared for the Antichrist
I am so grateful that there is a God in the heavens. He is the sovereign ruler of the universe. When I observe what is occurring before our very eyes in regard to President Barack Obama and his desire to, in my opinion, destroy the United States of America, I weep.

Nation neglects its heritage
We are a nation who has lost our way and no one is willing to point out how we got off course. If I have a ‘prized watch’ that’s broke I would take it back to the original “watchmaker” and get it fixed. No one wants to point out what needs to be done to fix it, and what needs to be done to get this nation back on course.
