WEYERS CAVE — On her home course in her final Region III meet Whitney Fulk went into the chute to a chorus of cheers from the hometown crowd.

WEYERS CAVE – Waynesboro senior Edward Ennis felt a little queasy and had a slight temperature, yet still managed to gut it out for an eighth-place finish and a Region III berth Wednesday.

WEYERS CAVE – As a junior last season, Fort Defiance’s Whitney Fulk kept a senior off the district’s top spot.

FISHERSVILLE — Fort Defiance dominated both races Wednesday night in a Southern Valley tri-meet hosted by Stuarts Draft at Expoland.

STAUNTON – Fort Defiance came away with a win in both girls and boys cross country, defeating Robert E. Lee and Broadway on Wednesday.

WEYERS CAVE — In the first ever cross country meet at the Weyers Cave Community Center, the Turner Ashby girls and the Fort Defiance boys took first place.
