Authorities have seized more than $1 million in guns, cash, vehicles and methamphetamine at a Verona couple’s home.

A judge has handed down the first prison sentence in a yearlong drug investigation by Waynesboro police and the WASSP Task Force.

A confidential informant “fell apart” when questioned, undermining cases against 15 of 28 suspected drug dealers arrested in an October sweep, authorities said Wednesday.

Waynesboro police on Wednesday released the names and photographs of seven fugitives wanted on drug dealing charges but made no additional arrests in the yearlong probe.

Waynesboro police and the WASSP Task Force arrested 21 suspected drug dealers starting at 6 a.m. Tuesday, following an investigation that began in 2007, police reported.
