SWOOPE — The Buffalo Gap offense came to play Friday night in its first district match against Page County as Pickle Nuckols and Michael Johnson combined for seven touchdowns giving the Bison a 55-28 victory.

Buffalo Gap defeated James River 34-19 on the road behind quarterback Ryan Sheridan and Pickle Nuckols.

Whatever Buffalo Gap coach Rob Maxwell told his team at halftime had a huge impact on the way the Bison played in the third quarter.

SWOOPE — Fort Defiance kept the game close in the first half, but Buffalo Gap’s defense was too strong as the Bison extended their winning streak to 17 games with a 35-12 win Friday night.

SWOOPE — Buffalo Gap overcame cramps and an early score by Bath County to notch the first win of the season, 25-7 Friday night.

SWOOPE – It was the first game of the season for Buffalo Gap, but for the quarterback Trevor Campbell it was more than that, it was the first game of his varsity football career.
