All 33 public schools in Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County met full Standards of Learning accreditation on 2007-08 testing, according to a release Thursday by the Virginia Department of Education.

VERONA — All 21 Augusta County schools will likely achieve full state Standards of Learning accreditation based on last year’s testing, the school district’s testing coordinator told the Augusta County School Board on Thursday.

All but five schools in Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County met the Adequate Yearly Progress targets required by the federal No Child Left Behind law on student testing in 2007-08, and the Staunton and Augusta County schools met the AYP targets as a whole.
