Why worry about things beyond our control?
Published: September 28, 2008
Consider this: President Bush, in the manner of a dictator, took us into war with Iraq without the approval of Congress. Additionally, he committed the act of war with inaccurate intelligence data. In so doing, his administration has amassed a national debt of over $3 trillion — that’s 3,000 billion dollars.
Last year, the government considered selling timber off federal lands to help pay interest on the debt. This idea was dismissed since it only would bring in a few hundred million dollars.
Don’t worry about these expenditures or paying them? Why?
The Swiss have started up a test particle accelerator seven miles in length. It’s a $3 billion item. It has the ability to turn this planet into a black hole in space. It could wipe out this planet and all hereon.
A black hole is an event wherein an implosion is so intense that light does not escape. All it takes is pushing the wrong button or terrorists at the controls.
Since it is out of our control, “Happy holidays!”

Editor’s note: A safety review approved in July by the European Organization for Nuclear Research determined that the Swiss particle accelerator poses a threat neither to Earth nor the universe.
