Truth of America’s folly need preached

I would like to encourage pastors to develop and preach a sermon series entitled, “What is happening to our nation and why,” based on 2 Timothy 3-4:8.

A good shepherd guards and warns the flock of God, acting as a watchman against the wolves seeking to devour the sheep. We are way beyond politics, political parties and who voted for whom. The globalist-run media gave us our presidential candidates and both were incompetent.

In the Old Testament, the watchman at the city wall had the duty to sound the trumpet and warn the inhabitants of enemy attackers. If the people did not respond, their blood was on his hands. He had not performed his responsibility (Ezekiel 33:1-9). There is a greater responsibility to warn all inhabitants, secular and Christian, to turn from their sin and face the realities. When the lamb is in the wolf’s belly, it is too late.

There is no verse in Scripture that says, “Let the ungodly take over and run the show.” The Obama administration is playing for keeps, busily destroying the America we have known. A second series may be entitled, “The Anti-Christian Agendas of the New World Order” (2 Thessalonians and Revelation).

Many Christians have adopted for non-confrontation, accommodation and capitulation. That’s why we are living in a post-Christian era. Millions are spiritually blind, covering for our president and his appointees, selling out our nation. But Obama has yet to prove his natural-born citizenship in order to be eligible to take the oath of office and serve as our president.

The ruin of our economy and financial system is no accident. A third sermon series would be, “Winning with Christ: Faithful, Practical Christianity to the End” (Eph. 6:10-18, 2 Peter 3). Forget the tax-deductible status. Our brainwashed nation is in deep trouble. Folks need all the truth to know Christ, stand and endure in the days ahead.

Sure let us run our nation based on a book of fiction called the bible.

The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all of fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomanical, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully. - Thank you, Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

I just know that you returned your stimulus check like every other outstanding Republican. George Bush ran this country in the ground for 8 years and I didn’t see one letter in the paper from you complaining. Now Obama is trying to straighten out the mess and all you do is complain. The Republicans lost the election, get over it.
