Special football practice a success

The Football Clinic held Aug. 8 was a great success (“Practice time with the big boys,” Aug. 9).
We would like to thank Coach Steve Isaacs and the Waynesboro High School varsity team for their help teaching the “little guys” some football skills. They made the clinic fun and were very patient and enthusiastic.
Also a big thanks to The News Virginian for the coverage they have been giving our youth football program.
A special thanks to Bruce Payne and the Waynesboro Parks and Recreation Department for all their support. We encourage the Waynesboro community to support the high school varsity and junior varsity teams and the youth football and cheerleading program.
Come be a fan of football. It is great fun for the whole family.
