Sarah Palin not ready to lead the country
Published: October 29, 2008
I voted early and by absentee ballot yesterday. I kinda wish I lived in Nelson County so I could vote against 5th District Rep. Virgil Goode. Virgil is not GOOD for his district or the state of Virginia. He is less effective for the troubled, scandal-ridden and criminal acts by the Bush administration and the Republican Party.
I liked John McCain in 2000 and probably would have voted for him then if he had gotten the nomination.
McCain is not the same person he was in 2000. I think Sarah Palin is very attractive. She may be a great governor for Alaska, but she needs to be at home with her children instead of running for vice president, hoping to get the government to help children with special needs, as her last child has Down Syndrome.
Why, then, did Palin cut funds in Alaska for Special Olympics? If by a fluke, she would be vice president, she sure will not be in charge of the U.S. Senate. And she could not name any Supreme Court decision that she disagreed with except Roe vs. Wade. The recent Supreme Court decision about Exxon Valdez was all about Alaska. Since she reads all the papers in front of her, she should have known that.
