Retailers need to do their part to prevent flu’s spread

Is it possible that with all the publicity about the flu season this year being doubly bad I am the only one concerned with not sharing the virus with others?

We are being warned about two strains of flu. Both are already in our area and vaccines are in short supply. The preventative measures for both strains are very similar. On all the lists I’ve seen, the directives are to avoid hand contact with other people, wash your hands using antibacterial hand gels or towelettes and use disinfectant wipes. Why then is a major retailer in the area totally ignoring something that other retailers have gotten on board with months ago.

Kudos to Kroger, Food Lion and others for providing disinfectant wipes at the cart pickup areas.
