Political cartoon borders on hate

I must protest your publication July 27 of “The Race Card” political cartoon in The News Virginian. It is a patently offensive, racist and nasty piece of work bordering on being hate mail. It has no place in the fabric of United States society. Shame on you. While I doubt that you will publish this message, I would hope that you at least have the decency to publish an apology.
