Mo Hippa Band keeps blues alive

Congratulations are in order for the way The Mo Hippa Band of Waynesboro represented the city at the fourth annual Blue Ridge Blues Society for Best Blues recently in Roanoke.

According to the announcer, the scoring was very tight and the competition was strong, competing against eight other bands from around the state.

The Mo Hippa Band was professional and confident in their performance and they were good ambassadors for our city.

Now it’s on to Beale Street in Memphis, Tenn., next year for more competition. Let’s give our support and encouragement.

Good job to all the members of Mo Hippa. Keep blues alive.
