Local helping hands have my thanks

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

My car conked out Aug. 2 at the entrance to the ATM at the Dupont Credit Union. A lady, whose last name was Fitzgerald, called the police for help. The policeman took me to my home where I got assistance to jump-start the car (the battery had died). I’m 83 and not as sharp as I once was. I’m unable to thank them directly, but I really appreciate their assistance. This happened in Waynesboro, but I’m sure it would not have happened in a lot of cities.
