Big Three taking tax dollars lose a buyer

» 1 Comment | Post a Comment

Over the years, I have never bought or owned a foreign model car. It was just a common-sense act of patriotism to buy American whenever possible.

However, now the Big Three automakers have taken many thousands of dollars of my tax money. Since this tax money must be added to the advertised price of their cars, as my total cost as a taxpayer, I will not in the future be able to afford to buy an American model car.

Don’t stop there. The banks and financial services took far more of your tax dollars. You should refuse to take out any loans or investments with any of them, and close your bank accounts and credit cards.

In the end, many more will have taken advantage of either George Bush’s or Barack Obama’s largesse. You may have to rethink the logic of your gesture.
