Buffalo Gap places eighth in state forensics competition
Buffalo Gap High School’s forensics team finished eighth overall among Group A schools at the recent VHSL State Forensics Meet in Harrisonburg.
Held last Saturday, April 12 at Harrisonburg High School, Buffalo Gap’s Tommy Dillard finished first overall in Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking, with Andrew Cox of Riverheads High School coming in third in the same category.
Gap’s Jessica Wade finished sixth in Storytelling, while Jordan Driskill of Waynesboro High School, competing in Group AA, finished fourth in Prose Interpretation.
