Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Mark Warner will make a number of Waynesboro stops Saturday prior to an evening appearance at a Staunton Democratic fundraiser.
Warner will appear as the keynote speaker at the Waynesboro Democratic Committee headquarters at 1 p.m., according to Committee Chairman Chris Graham.
Graham said Warner will follow that apperance with a 2 p.m. downtown walking tour on Main Street and an appearance at a reception at the Waynesboro Heritage Museum between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m.
In late afternoon, Warner is expected to join Sixth District Democratic Congressional candidate Sam Rasoul and gubernatorial hopeful, Sen. Creigh Deeds, at the Paint the Valley Blue fundraiser at the Frontier Culture Museum. That event is set to start at 5:30 p.m.
