n Police are investigating an alleged assault on Sears Hill Lane. A man reported two cuts to his leg, police said. He was treated at Augusta Health. Police said robbery was not a motive and that the victim could not say how many assailants might have been involved.

n Pennsylvania authorities charged a Staunton man with multiple felonies after a traffic stop and foot pursuit along Interstate 81 near Harrisburg, according to The Patriot News.
Aarian D. Brown, 32, was charged with escape, possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. Police recovered 113 grams of marijuana in a search of the man’s car, according to court records.
