Michael Comer, 45, the man accused of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Glenmore Community Association, has been released on $50,000 bond.

Comer, who was arrested Monday night after being found by Wintergreen police, also must surrender his passport and live in his home on Milton Village Lane, according to a statement from Albemarle County police Lt. Todd Hopwood.

Comer went missing on July 1, the same day he was to attend a meeting to discuss an audit that had found more than $650,000 missing from the community association.
