Twins strumming for air guitar championship

A pair of rock ‘n roll moms from Stuarts Draft - twins actually - are vying for the top prize in a nationwide air guitar championship this week.

Shelly Good-Cook and Kelly Good-Singleton, both 42, teamed up in August at the Shenandoah County Fair to record a 60-second clip of impassioned strumming (without guitars), and earned a spot in the top 20.

Online voting will determine the winner, who will receive a trip to Hawaii to be on stage at a Foreigner concert. The band sponsored the competition.
