Thefts reported

* More than $900 in goods were taken from a Lyndhurst garage Wednesday. Authorities said an impact wrench, remote control car and a battery went missing. No signs of forced entry were found at the garage in the 70 block of Dusty Oak Lane.

* About $1,500 in tools were stolen from a business truck Tuesday night in the 10 block of Hanna Circle in Waynesboro.

Anyone with information about crimes is asked to call Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-2017. Callers with information leading to an arrest could receive cash awards up to $1,000. The information can be given anonymously.
