Progression Repertory Dance Company of the Old Dominion Dance Studio will perform at the Waynesboro Farmers’ Market from 5-6 p.m.

The Albemarle County Fair continues through Aug. 2 from 4-11 p.m. through Friday. On Saturday, the fair opens at 10 a.m. and continues until 11 p.m. Activities continue the final day from 1-6 p.m. The fair takes place at the Fairgrounds in North Garden. Admission for adults is $7 and $6 for seniors (60-plus). Children (6-12) are $3 for admission and children under six are admitted for free. Afton Amblers String Band, Stone Soup’s Books and Café’s own houseband will offer laid-back, old-time, finger-snappin’, toe-tappin’ tunes and sing-a-longs. Music begins at 6:15. No cover charge. Booth Brothers perform in concert at R.E. Lee High School, Staunton, with guests Greater Love Quartet. Prices are $17 in advance, $20 at door, $25 for reserve seating. Reserve tickets available only by calling BRT. Summit Square Art Galley will feature work of local watercolor artist Steven Kasdan from Aug. 3 through Sept. 30.  Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily and visitors are requested to sign-in at the receptionist’s desk at the Oak Avenue entrance.
