Crimora Players present “Hillbilly Hankerin’ ” by Pat Cook, with dinner to be served at 6:30 p.m. at the Crimora Community Center. Doors at 5:30 p.m. The comedy is about a hillbilly family of five daughters feuding with a neighboring family of four daughters. All the girls are looking to get married but there are no men around until government agents show up. Dinner consists of ham, potatoes, green beans, applesauce, roll, dessert, tea or water. Tickets are $11 and available in advance by calling Irene Cash at 943-9967 or Teresa Stewart at 487-0526 or e-mailing crimora . Only a limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Funds raised will benefit restorative repairs to the Crimora Community Center by the Crimora Ruritan Club. CCC address is 1648 New Hope Crimora Road, Crimora.

The Nelson County Folk Life Festival at Pharsalia, will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 30-31. Gates open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days.
