Coffey to step down as Gap baseball coach

Chad Coffey will resign as varsity baseball coach at Buffalo Gap High School.

After leading the Bison to four Shenandoah District championships, Coffey said he will leave the post because he was unable to give the players the time they deserved. Coffey also coaches the Buffalo Gap girls basketball team, leading it to back-to-back Group A, Division 1 championships in 2008 and 2009.
