Turks hand Waynesboro another loss

In Harrisonburg, Harrisonburg handed Waynesboro another loss on Saturday.

The Turks blanked the Generals 7-0, marking Waynesboro’s third-straight loss. The Generals have lost six out of their last four games.

The loss also dropped the Generals 2½ games behind Staunton in the South Division standings.

Tonight Waynesboro will get a chance to break its skid when it hosts Rockbridge. The Rapids 3-13 record is the worst in the Valley Baseball League.
