Victory celebration is for Jesus Christ

As followers (dare I say, worshippers?) of President Barack Obama celebrate victory, I wonder why. Mr. Obama, who campaigned while kissing babies, will in all probability try to enact into law the Freedom of Choice Act, which will reverse the partial-birth abortion legislation passed under President George W. Bush. This will again enable abortionists to kill babies up until birth. Some choice!

God says, “Thou shalt not kill.” Literally in Hebrew: “Do no murder.” I support Christian radio and believe the Democrat-controlled House and Senate will also push to enact The Fairness in Broadcasting, which will require Christian radio (totally self-funded and financed) to allow equal time (free of charge) for opposing viewpoints.

I believe that the current economic crisis is due in part to the election of Mr. Obama. God has warned us in Psalm 9:17: “The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God.”

I love my native-born nation. I am an honorably discharged U.S. veteran. I have paid excessive taxes for 35 years. Now faced with losing employment (more than 28 years), I believe America’s best days are behind.

The real victory celebration occurred 2,000 years ago, when Jesus Christ conquered death, hell and the grave. He was resurrected gloriously. He has ascended to the right hand of the throne of Almighty God. He awaits the fulfillment of the Gentile dispensation (when people can be saved by God’s infinite grace – manifested on the cross of Calvary) when he will personally return to Earth. He will assume its Kingship, as he is her creator, redeemer and Lord.

Chris, for as angry as you get on your own site when people pigeonhole you (remember when someone called you a socialist?), you sure are free with the name calling yourself. Shame on you!

And it would be interesting to know just what it was in the posted letter that led you to call the writer a fascist. Is anyone who doesn’t agree with your “progressive” agenda a fascist?

Mr. Graham,
I find it appalling that you, a former contender for city counsel, had the guts to call Mr. Fisher a fascist. You should have much more respect for the opinions of others and if you do not agree with those opinions, please read the First Amendment to our United States Constitution which gives people the right to voice his or her opinion. So, if you are so childish that you cannot voice your opinion in a respectable manner, and instead revert to name calling, then do not say ANYTHING!
