Bad people using bad guns, and the biz of sinking ships

Just a few things to ponder:

n Mouth of the House Nancy Pelosi: The more she is in the spotlight the more she looks like a deer in the headlights.

n Businesses that are too big to go under? Sounds like the Titanic. By the way, where is it right now?

n GUNS DO KILL! They unlock the cabinet, take off the trigger lock, walk down the street and start shooting! All on their own. Amazing!

n Bad kids? Very few. Bad parents? Countless. They are what you make ‘em.

n Respect. You cannot buy, steal, borrow or demand it. You either earn it or you don’t get it – an old U.S.A. proverb.

n Do you have tunnel vision? If you can only see the good in Republicans, you have it. If you can only see the good in Democrats, you have it.

n Government reports no raises for people receiving Social Security or disability payments for the next three years. However, billions of dollars in Social Security surplus will continue to go to the general fund.

n Briber vs. lobbyist: Any difference? Not in my humble mind.

n Ever notice that when you catch someone breaking the ninth commandment – telling a lie – they never blame themselves for telling it, they blame you for catching it?

n I have worked all my life to be unsuccessful. I can now proudly announce: I MADE IT!
