Staunton Steve & Barry’s closing its doors

The Staunton Mall’s Steve & Barry’s store is closing as part of a reorganization by the company that recently purchased the bankrupt chain.

According to a release from Steve & Barry’s public relations office, the Staunton store is one of more than 100 stores being closed to help the chain reach profitability.

There will now be 170 Steve & Barry’s stores nationally as part of a reorganization by BH S&B Holdings, the purchaser.

A store closing sale is now underway at the Staunton Mall.
