In Swoope, The Wilson Memorial boys soccer team wrapped up its season with a first place finish in the Shenandoah District and a 7-0 shutout win over Buffalo Gap.
Josh Miller scored a hat trick in the game and Phillip Congleton finished with three assists. Also scoring in the win were Kyle Inlow, Ben Boward, Sam Bowman and Josh Miller.
The Green Hornets put 33 shots on goal.
Wilson (8-4, 5-1 Shenandoah) will be back in non-district action on Thursday when they host Bath County.

In Fishersville, the Bison finished with 15 hits during their rout of Wilson Memorial on Tuesday night.
The top-five Bison (13-3, 6-1 Shenandoah) batters finished the night 13-for-15 and Gap’s Lance Hanger was 5-for-5 with five RBI. The Green Hornets (7-8, 2-4) Brice McLamroch had a solo home run in the fifth inning.
Softball

In Fishersville, the Green Hornets’ Summer Ramsey struck out nine batters and allowed one hit, earning the shutout win over the Bison.
Wilson’s (13-1, 6-1) Leah Pagett finished with two RBI.
JV Boys Soccer
* Waynesboro 8, R.E. Lee 2
In Waynesboro, the Little Giants out-shot the Leemen 19-7 on their way to a win on their home pitch.
Eduardo Juarez scored two goals in the win.
Waynesboro (12-1-1) will be back in action on Thursday when it hosts Fort Defiance.
