The jury in the George Huguely murder trial is deliberating.
Before jurors is the question whether Huguely is guilty of any of the six charges ranging from grand larceny to first-degree murder that he faces.
The jury has been deliberating at Charlottesville Circuit Court for more than two hours and has had only one question.
Jury members asked for a definition of reason, as it pertains to one of their written instructions. The judge referred them to the word's common usage, and it wasn't immediately clear what the instruction in question dealt with.
If the jury finds Huguely guilty of something, there will be more testimony before the jury recommends a sentence. Huguely faces the charges in connection with the May 2010 death of former girlfriend Yeardley Love.
Both were University of Virginia students and members of the school's lacrosse teams.
